Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and HuFi LLC, which operates Skincareful. They apply when you use the Skincareful app, website, product checks, ingredient tools, label scans, routine features, chat, community features, subscriptions, and related services.

You may use Skincareful only if you can form a binding contract with us and your use is lawful where you live. If you use Skincareful on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

Skincareful provides educational and organizational information to help you think through skincare products, ingredients, routines, product comparisons, and skin check-ins. Skincareful is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a dermatologist, physician, pharmacist, or other qualified professional.

Ingredient, product, routine, scan, chat, and verdict information can be incomplete, outdated, misread, or unsuitable for your specific skin, allergies, conditions, medications, pregnancy status, procedures, or other circumstances. You are responsible for deciding whether to buy, use, stop using, or combine products and for seeking professional advice when appropriate.

If you experience a reaction, irritation, allergy, infection, or other medical concern, stop using the relevant product if appropriate and contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

You may need an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your account is being used in a way that violates these terms, harms the service, or creates risk for other users.

Skincareful may offer free and paid features. Paid plans, scans, comparisons, chat usage, or other paid features may be billed through an app store, payment processor, or other third-party billing provider.

Prices, features, limits, trials, renewal periods, and billing terms may change over time. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled through the billing method used to subscribe.

Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes may be handled by the app store or payment provider when they process your payment. We may change, add, or remove features from free or paid plans, but we will not intentionally remove core paid access you already purchased without a reasonable replacement, credit, or other remedy where required by law.

You agree not to misuse Skincareful, interfere with the service, attempt to access systems or data without permission, submit unlawful or harmful content, upload content you do not have the right to use, copy or scrape the service at scale, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or use Skincareful to violate anyone else's rights.

We may suspend or restrict access if we believe your use violates these terms or could harm Skincareful, our users, or third parties.

You keep ownership of information, photos, reviews, check-ins, feedback, and other content you submit. You give Skincareful permission to host, process, display, reproduce, analyze, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, protect, and provide the service.

If you post reviews, comments, profile details, or other community content, you are responsible for what you post and for making sure you have the rights needed to post it. Community content may be visible to other users according to the feature settings.

If you send ideas or feedback, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.

Skincareful, including our name, brand, design, software, copy, and other materials, is owned by HuFi LLC or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not give you ownership of Skincareful or permission to use our branding except as allowed by us in writing.

Skincareful may include links, product data, ingredient data, AI tools, scanning tools, payment services, app store services, analytics, or integrations from third parties. We are not responsible for third-party services, products, policies, or content, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.

Skincareful is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that Skincareful will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any product data, ingredient information, scan result, chat response, routine verdict, review, or recommendation will be complete, current, accurate, or appropriate for you.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Skincareful and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of or inability to use Skincareful.

We may update these terms as Skincareful evolves. If changes are material, we will update the effective date above and take additional steps to notify you when required. Continued use of Skincareful after changes means you accept the updated terms.
